There's a fair bit of construction going on there today and it's only a couple of months away from being finished......... This one should be good, as the car parks there are pretty ugly......

Hopefully once its up and everyone loves it, they will do the same as the Tramline and Extend it!

As much as I would love that, I thought the fact that it was smaller than the actual building had something to do with air flow or being a fire hazard. Can anyone clear that up? I don't actually know this for sure but I remember someone mentioning it before.

Yes. Apparently if they covered too much of the car park, they'd have to install an active ventilation system for the car exhaust, which would add significant cost to the project.

I asked a question in the chamber on Monday night - reference in Ray light column page 2 of City Messenger.
We received a briefing paper yesterday – lights are on their way and it should be up around September.
